Dim Sum Dining

DIM SUM 101

A Cantonese tradition, originated in the southern part of China.  The direct translation of "dim sum" means "a touch of your heart."  Similar to French style hors d'oeurves, dim sum comes in hot and cold dishes.  Today dim sum consists of a variety of steamed, baked, stir-fried, and fried goodies.  All dim sum are hand-made everyday at the O'Asian kitchen, on our dim sum carts we will find the traditional shu mai, shrimp balls, chicken feet in black bean sauce, egg tarts, baked BBQ pork bun, steamed tofu skins with pork, vegetarian dumplings, sticky rice wrapped in lotus leaves and the infamous spinach & shrimp dumplings and taro croquotte, just to name a few.  We invited you to come to O'Asian and spend a lazy afternoon sipping tea and enjoy our unlimited selection of Chinese delicacies.
